Celebrating Community Philanthropy highlighted how philanthropy serves as a catalyst—turning challenges into opportunities and dreams into reality.

Guests heard stories of impact across our nine-county region, from the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, which is sparking a love of reading in young children, to partnerships like the Guthrie Opportunity Center and the Washington County Association for the Mentally Handicapped, showing how collaboration fuels greater purpose.

The event closed with a focus on community funds—the ultimate catalysts—uniting the passion and generosity of many to accomplish what no single donor could do alone.

As CKCF President and CEO Davette Swiney shared, “Philanthropy is a catalyst that ignites change, empowers people and organizations to be bold, and transforms generosity into lasting impact.”
