Learn and Lead Lunch Series
The Central Kentucky Community Foundation’s Learn and Lead Lunch series is designed to support and strengthen regional nonprofit leadership. Tailored specifically for executive directors and those in senior leadership roles, these quarterly gatherings offer valuable professional development in a collaborative, peer-focused setting. Each session features expert-led discussions on timely topics such as board engagement, stress management, succession planning, and the evolving landscape of nonprofit work. The series fosters connection among local leaders, equipping them with practical tools, fresh insights, and a stronger sense of community to help their organizations thrive. Our next Learn and Lead Lunch is happening on Tuesday, June 2nd at 12:30pm EST at the CKCF’s Home of Philanthropy Community Hall. Tickets are $15. Click HERE to purchase your ticket.

Nonprofit Roundtable
Join us for Central Kentucky Community Foundation’s 5th Annual Nonprofit Roundtable on August 18th from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM at the Home of Philanthropy Community Hall.
Each year, nonprofit leaders, staff, and volunteers from across the region come together for this energizing day of learning, sharing, and connection. The Nonprofit Roundtable offers a valuable opportunity to step away from the day-to-day work and engage with peers who understand both the challenges and the rewards of serving our communities.
This year’s program will feature timely, relevant topics such as fundraising events, staying mission-focused, and creating positive, thriving workplace environments. Attendees will hear from area experts, exchange ideas, and walk away with practical strategies they can implement within their own organizations.
One of the most impactful aspects of the Roundtable is the collaboration that happens throughout the day. Whether it’s a seasoned executive director sharing real-world experiences or a newer leader asking thoughtful questions, every voice contributes to a stronger nonprofit community—and everyone leaves with fresh insight.
“It’s encouraging to know we’re not alone in this work,” shared Debbie Childress, Executive Director of Grayson County Alliance. “The Nonprofit Roundtable gives us a place to learn from each other and be reminded of why we do what we do.”
This event reflects CKCF’s ongoing commitment to supporting the nonprofit sector and serving as a catalyst for philanthropy in our region.
