Scholarship Administration
Central Kentucky Community Foundation has been the area’s partner in education for more than 50 years and has been awarding scholarships for just as long. We’ve partnered with many generous people and organizations to help students reach their dream of a college education.
We hold several funds for local scholarships, but sometimes organizations want autonomy for its scholarship program. We understand and want to support you and your efforts to help local students. That’s why we offer the option of including your organization’s scholarship on the area’s one-stop shop for local scholarships – Scholarship Central. For a minimal fee, you can increase applicants for your scholarship and put the power of Scholarship Central to work for you.
With the news spreading about the ease of applying for scholarships at Scholarship Central, the region’s one-stop shop for college scholarships, several community groups now use the online platform to administer their scholarships. Through a strategic partnership with Elizabethtown Community and Technical College to strengthen higher education in our region, CKCF now is hosting all ECTC scholarships on Scholarship Central.
“It was a natural fit to move our scholarships to CKCF’s platform, Scholarship Central. Many of the same students apply for our scholarships as they do CKCF’s scholarships. It made sense to work together on this process and have a more efficient way for students to apply.”
Dr. Juston Pate, ECTC president and CEO
Other scholarship partner organizations include Nelson County Community Support Foundation; Bardstown Rotary Club; Fort Knox Chapter, Military Officers Association of America (MOAA); the Hardin County Cattlemen Association; and the Hardin County Bar Association.
