2020 Celebrating Community Philanthropy

Despite the cancellation of the in-person ceremony, we pivoted to provide a virtual program that showcased community philanthropy.

The event showcases work in the community about people, projects, stories and ideas that are making a difference.

The event has been in-person at Grace Heartland Church, but was modified to online because of the pandemic.

2020 was the 60th anniversary of CKCF, so our history about the foundation was weaved throughout the program.

It showcased three different areas of work happening in the community: the Central Kentucky Cares fund which distributed money in response to COVID-19, stories about scholarships and how they work and what role they play, and financial literacy in high schools and the people involved in that project.
