Kentucky’s 24 hours of giving returns May 22

May 21, 2018 – Kentucky Gives Day – the statewide 24-hour online giving event – is Tuesday, May 22.

KY Gives Day is a way to raise money and awareness about the vital work of our nonprofit organizations.  Central Kentucky Community Foundation is proud to bring this opportunity to donors and nonprofits in our region.

The goal is to raise as much money as possible – giving every Kentuckian the opportunity to support causes they care about and giving nonprofits the opportunity to share their story – all through a single online giving site and in just 24 hours!

“We enjoy helping those in our region connect with the causes they care about through KY Gives Day,” said Davette B. Swiney, President and CEO of CKCF. “Last year, local nonprofits raised over $19,000 in 24-hours. We are looking forward to surpassing that number this year. These funds help our nonprofits continue their mission of improving lives in central Kentucky. Our region is very generous, and we are confident that KY Gives Day 2018 will be a successful day giving.”

Regional sponsors of the 6th annual KY Gives Day are The Cecilian Bank and South Central Bank.
