Testimonial: Brianna Taylor Memorial Scholarship

Brianna Taylor Memorial Scholarship

Brianna Taylor had a smile that lit up every room she walked into, and she never met a stranger. She loved her family with all her heart and was proud of her Elizabethtown High School heritage. She was always willing to help those in need and did everything she could to make those around her smile. She viewed not only her softball team but all of her friends, as family and was a source of strength for those she was close to. Brianna was an all-around student and person; she excelled on the field and in the classroom.

Those who knew Brianna will always remember her for her smile and bubbly personality. No matter what was happening in her life, she was always positive and encouraging to those around her. Brianna’s legacy is lived on by the impact she had on everyone who was lucky enough to have met her.

When Brianna’s life was cut short, her family decided to honor her with the creation of the Brianna Taylor Scholarship. The Brianna Taylor Memorial Scholarship will be awarded each year to a girl who has her head and heart in the game, just as Brianna did at school, playing sports, and in her community. The scholarship is awarded to an Elizabethtown High School graduate and funded in part by proceeds from the annual Angels in the Outfield Softball Tournament held each summer.
