Scholarship Central – Previous Season’s Scholarships

The following is a list of scholarships from the previous CKCF Scholarship Central season. Scholarship Central will open for applications in January each year.

ECTC RETURNING STUDENT Scholarship from Central Kentucky Community Foundation

Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must be a returning student at ECTC
  • Open to students pursuing any academic or vocational field of study
  • Cumulative 2.5 GPA
  • Demonstrate financial need to achieve educational goals

ECTC Scholarship from Central Kentucky Community Foundation

Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must be a graduating senior in high school
  • Plan to attend Elizabethtown Community and Technical College
  • Open to students pursuing any academic or vocational field of study
  • Cumulative 2.5 GPA

Elizabethtown – Kelley Miller State Farm Scholarship – $500 award

Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must be a graduating senior from Elizabethtown High School
  • Plan to attend a Kentucky college or university
  • 2.75 to 3.25 GPA
  • Demonstrate financial need to achieve educational goals

Hardin County – Kelley Miller State Farm Scholarship – $500 award

Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must be a graduating senior from Hardin County Schools
  • Plan to attend a Kentucky college or university
  • 2.75 to 3.25 GPA
  • Demonstrate financial need to achieve educational goals

J.R. and Carrie Lee Edwards Scholarship – $2,000 award (renewable)

Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must be a graduating senior from LaRue County High School or previous graduate from LaRue County High School
  • Attended LaRue County High School for at least two consecutive years prior to graduation
  • Enrolled to attend an accredited institution of higher learning
  • Pursuing a career in teaching or education
  • Cumulative 2.5 GPA
  • Completed 15 units of college-bound core curriculum

John Dink Memorial Scholarship – $2,000 award to 9 students

Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must be a resident of Hardin County and a graduating senior in high school
  • Plan to attend a Kentucky college or university
  • At least a “B” average and/or a 2.8 GPA

Lanny Skees Memorial Scholarship – Up to full tuition

Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must be a graduating senior from Central Hardin High School
  • Plan to attend Western Kentucky University
  • Pursuing a career in agricultural science field
  • Demonstrate financial need to achieve educational goals

Llewellyn Memorial Scholarship – $1,000 award to 25 students

Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must be a graduating senior from Hardin County Schools
  • Open to students pursuing any academic or vocational field of study
  • Cumulative 2.5 GPA
  • Demonstrate financial need to achieve educational goals

Martha Jane Hamilton Nursing Scholarship – Up to full tuition

Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must be a graduating senior from Meade County High School or a previous graduate of Meade County High School
  • Enrolled to attend Elizabethtown Community and Technical College
  • Pursuing a career in nursing
  • Cumulative 2.5 GPA
  • Demonstrate financial need to achieve educational goals

Owen J. Estes, Sr. Memorial Scholarship – Up to full tuition

Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must be a graduating senior from Hart County High School
  • Plan to attend a public, nonprofit institution of higher learning
  • Open to students pursuing any academic or vocational field of study
  • Cumulative 2.5 GPA
  • Demonstrate financial need to achieve educational goals
