Kentucky Gives Day

Give to your favorite nonprofit on KY Gives Day!

Central Kentucky Community Foundation and the Kentucky Nonprofit Network Inc. partnered to bring Kentucky Gives Day to our region once again this year.

Kentucky Gives Day is a 24-hour online fundraising event bringing charities and Kentuckians together for a powerful day of action. Our goal is to raise as much money as possible – giving every Kentuckian the opportunity to support causes they care about and giving charitable nonprofits the opportunity to share their story – all through a single online giving site and in just 24 hours!

Fifteen local nonprofits are participating to raise dollars and awareness for their organizations. They will compete for statewide and regional prizes. Make sure to visit kygives.org on May 22 and donate one of our participating nonprofits!

About Kentucky Gives Day

2017 was the 5th annual statewide event, and the 2nd year CKCF has facilitated a focus in our region. Kentucky Gives Day has been building momentum since 2013 when it was first launched. In the past 5 years, the event has raised $1.3 million.

Through Kentucky Gives Day, people will be able to donate money online to participating non-profit organizations in our community. With prize incentives and some friendly competition, we can raise dollars and awareness for the great service nonprofits who give to our community each day.

Kentucky Gives Day creates a statewide, 24-hour synergy.

How can Kentuckians participate?

Kentucky Gives Day is an innovative online fundraising event that provides a way for Kentuckians (and beyond) to support their favorite charities. Donations made on the kygives.org site are an investment in these organizations working to create a stronger Kentucky. The online giving platform makes finding and donating to charity easy and fun. Organizations participating in Kentucky Gives Day are eligible for incentive prizes, and many organizations have secured matching funds. Online giving is a very affordable way for charities to raise needed funds for their mission and tell their story.

On Kentucky Gives Day, visit kygives.org to search for the charities you want to support, click “donate” to enter the appropriate donation information. Only donations made online at kygives.org with a credit card, debit card or PayPal. The platform utilizes the latest technology to ensure that your personal and financial information is safe and secure.
