Competitive Community Grants

Central Kentucky Community Foundation strengthens nonprofits through gifts to causes and organizations important to donors. Competitive grants to fund strategic change and impact in our central Kentucky counties are also available. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in the communities we serve. We could not improve the lives of residents in our community without nonprofits whose work directly impacts people’s lives.

1. Who does Central Kentucky Community Foundation fund?
Nonprofit, public organizations with evidence of tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

2. Does the Foundation give grants to individuals?
We only give grants to organizations with 501(c)(3) status.

3. What is the grant review process?
Applications will be screened for eligibility and completeness by Central Kentucky Community Foundation staff. CKCF Grant Committee will evaluate eligible applications and will forward grant recommendations to CKCF Board of Directors for final approval.

4. How will I be contacted once my application has been approved?
All applicants will be notified of the results in writing.

5. How do I submit an application?
